By using Wordplay Press, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. You must use the service lawfully and, if you are under the age of legal majority where you live, with permission from a parent or guardian.
The service
Wordplay Press provides a browser-based word-search generator, printable themes, local puzzle history, and PDF creation. Features may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. We do not promise that every submitted word will fit every grid; shorter words or a larger grid may be required.
Your words and generated puzzles
You are responsible for the words, titles, and themes you enter. Do not enter unlawful, harmful, infringing, private, or sensitive personal information. Puzzle content is processed locally in your browser, and Wordplay Press does not claim ownership of the original word lists you create.
You may print and use generated puzzles for personal, classroom, family, club, or other non-deceptive purposes. You are responsible for confirming that you have permission to use any names, trademarks, copyrighted text, or other protected material you add.
Acceptable use
- Do not interfere with the site, bypass security, or attempt to overload the service.
- Do not use the service to create or distribute illegal, abusive, hateful, exploitative, or deceptive material.
- Do not falsely imply that Wordplay Press endorses your puzzle, product, organization, or message.
- Do not copy the site’s design, source content, or branding in a way that violates applicable intellectual-property rights.
Advertising and external services
The site may display third-party advertising and link to external services. An advertisement is not an endorsement. External services have their own terms and privacy practices, and Wordplay Press is not responsible for their content, availability, or transactions.
Disclaimers
The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, Wordplay Press disclaims warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free output, fitness for a particular purpose, and accuracy of user-supplied content. Check generated puzzles and answer keys before using them in graded, professional, or high-stakes settings.
Automated placement checks and limited spelling suggestions do not verify that custom word lists are accurate, age-appropriate, lawful, non-infringing, or suitable for a particular audience. Review the worksheet and answer key before sharing them. Layout, printing and download results may vary by browser, device and printer.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Wordplay Press will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the site, loss of browser-stored puzzles, inability to access the service, or reliance on generated material.
